<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article provides a description of the anthropological finding – human remains discovered in the church of St. Peter (Domashevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, burial at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries AD). The available morphological data most likely indicate the presence of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis. This disease resulted in trauma to the cervical vertebrae, which altered their morphology. However, the injury did not lead to death; the person lived for a long time afterwards, as post-traumatic skeletal changes with the development of torticollis were noted.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>диффузный идиопатический гиперостоз скелета</kwd><kwd>болезнь Форестье</kwd><kwd>травма</kwd><kwd>шейный отдел позвоночника</kwd><kwd>антропология</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis</kwd><kwd>Forestier disease</kwd><kwd>injury</kwd><kwd>cervical spine</kwd><kwd>anthropology</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Скрябина ЕН, Магдеева НА, Корнева ЮМ.
