Системная красная волчанка (СКВ) характеризуется неблагоприятным исходом и непредсказуемым течением. Значительное влияние на течение и исход болезни оказывает принадлежность пациента к определенному этносу. СКВ у афроамериканцев и азиатов протекает в более тяжелой форме, чем у белых европейцев. В обзоре рассматриваются эпидемиологические данные, особенности течения и клинических проявлений СКВ у азиатов.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is characterized by an unpredictable and unfavorable course. The ethnicity of the patient has a significant impact on the course and outcome of the disease. SLE is more severe in African Americans and Asians than in white Europeans. This review examines epidemiological data, characteristics of the course and clinical manifestations of SLE in Asians.
