Впервые АТ был описан в Японии, где наблюдается его высокая распространенность, позднее немногочисленные случаи АТ были выявлены и в других этнических группах. Редкие случаи семейной агрегации заболевания позволили предположить вовлечение генетических факторов в патогенез АТ. Почти за 45-летнюю историю изучения генетики АТ не только установлена выраженная взаимосвязь заболевания с антигеном HLA-B5(52)/аллелем HLA-B*5201, но и определены другие HLA и не-HLA молекулярно-генетические маркеры.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a rare systemic disease characterized by granulomatous inflammation affecting large arteries, primarily the aorta and its branches. First described in Japan, where the disease has a high prevalence, TA was subsequently reported, though less frequently, in other ethnic groups. Rare cases of familial aggregation suggest the involvement of genetic factors in the pathogenesis of TA.
