Колхицин – алкалоид, выделенный из клубнелуковиц безвременника осеннего (Colchicum autumnale), представляет собой мощный фармакологический агент, применяемый в лечении разнообразных патологических состояний. Его клиническая эффективность, подтвержденная многочисленными исследованиями, не вызывает сомнений в научном сообществе. Тем не менее, несмотря на его доказанные терапевтические свойства колхицина, его безопасность окружена мифами и предубеждениями. В данной работе мы предприняли попытку развеять эти мифы, опираясь на современные научные данные и методологические подходы.

Colchicine – an alkaloid isolated from the corms of Colchicum autumnale – is a potent pharmacological agent used in the treatment of various conditions. Its clinical efficacy, confirmed by numerous studies, raises no doubts within the scientific community. Nevertheless, despite the proven therapeutic properties of colchicine, its safety remains surrounded by myths and prejudices. In this work, we attempted to refute these myths, relying on modern scientific data and methodological approaches.
