Результаты клинических исследований доказали эффективность тоцилизумаба (ТЦЗ) у пациентов с ревматоидным артритом (РА) как в виде монотерапии, так и в комбинации с базисными противовоспалительными препаратами. Установлено, что терапия ТЦЗ значительно уменьшает клинические проявления РА, улучшает функцию суставов и качество жизни пациентов, а также сдерживает деструкцию суставов и рентгенологическое прогрессирование болезни. Отмечено, что ТЦЗ продемонстрировал хорошие результаты в лечении пациентов с длительным течением заболевания и неэффективностью ингибиторов ФНО 〈 в анамнезе.

Clinical trials have provided evidence for the efficacy of tocilizumab (TCZ) used alone and in combination with basic anti-inflammatory drugs in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). TCZ therapy has been found to considerably alleviate the clinical manifestations of RA, improves joint function and quality of life, and retards joint destruction and radiographic disease progression. TCZ has been noted to demonstrate good results in the treatment of patients with the prolonged disease and a history of inefficient tumor necrosis factor-〈 inhibitors.
