She graduated from the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical Institute in 1973. She is member of the Presidium of the Association of Rheumatologists of Russia; member of the Presidium of the Russian Osteoporosis Association; member of the EULAR Guidelines Committee for Management of Hand Osteoarthritis; the EULAR Guidelines Committee for Diagnosis of Hand Osteoarthritis; the International Expert Study Group on Early OA (ESCOA). She is expert of the 17th edition of the Federal Medication Guide edited by A.G. Chuchalin. She is a leading osteoarthritis expert; the author of more than 400 publications, and the principal developer of clinical guidelines for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis.
