He is the author of more than 700 printing works, including those in journals, indexed in international Q2-Q1-level databases. He is a coauthor of 8 study guides, 2 textbooks, a coeditor of the textbook “Clinical Pharmacology”, 10 educational programs, a coauthor and one of the science editors of “The National Guide to Clinical Pharmacology”, as well as a coauthor of “The National Guide to Medical Genetics”, the author of 3 scientific monographs: “Clinical Pharmacogenetics” (2007), “Drug Metabolism: the Scientific Basis of Personalized Medicine” (2008), and “Polypharmacy in Clinical Practice: Problems and Solutions” (2016, 2018), the practicum for medical students “The General Issues of Clinical Pharmacology” (2010, 2013). Russian Federation Government prize winner in science and technology (2008); N.P. Kravkov prize winner of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the best work in pharmacology and toxicology in2009. Atotal of 5 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations have been defended under his supervision.
He is Deputy Chairman, Clinical Pharmacology Task Force (since 2019); President, Society of Pharmacogenetics, Pharmacokinetics, and Personalized Therapy; a member of the Board of the Moscow City Scientific Society of Therapists; editor-in-chief of the journal “Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics”, a member of the editorial boards of the Russian journals “Vestnik RAMS”, “Clinical Pharmacology and Therapy”, “Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics”, “Antibiotics and Chemotherapy”, “Creative Cardiology”, “Biomedicine”, “Molecular Medicine”, “Pharmacy of Kazakhstan”, “Public Health of the Far East", “Modern Rheumatology”; a member of the Expert Council on Therapeutic Sciences, Higher Attestation Commission of Russia (in 2014 to 2019), an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR), and the Russian Science Foundation (RSF).
His research interests are the applied aspects of clinical and pharmacological technologies for personalized medicine (pharmacogenetic testing, pharmacokinetic monitoring) in diseases of the internal organs, mental diseases, drug interactions, and polypharmacy in clinical practice, the problems of prevention of adverse reactions, and information technologies in clinical pharmacology.
